Emerging Cannabinoids

Emerging Cannabinoids

Containing over 100 different cannabinoids, many of which are only now being studied for their potential health benefits. These lesser-known compounds are often referred to as emerging cannabinoids.

What Are Emerging Cannabinoids?

Emerging cannabinoids are compounds that aren’t as widely recognised or studied but show promising therapeutic potential. Emerging cannabinoids often interact with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in unique ways, sometimes complementing or enhancing the effects of complementary cannabinoids.

Some of the most talked-about emerging cannabinoids include:

CBG (Cannabigerol)

Known as the “mother of all cannabinoids,” CBG is a precursor to the two primary cannabinoids. It may support gut health, inflammation, and focus.

CBC (Cannabichromene)

Thought to have mood-enhancing, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties.

CBN (Cannabinol)

CBN is associated with relaxation and sleep support.

CBDA (Cannabidiolic Acid)

The raw form of CBD, which may help with nausea and inflammation before it is decarboxylated.

THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin)

Known for energising effects and appetite regulation, potentially useful for focus and weight management.

The future of cannabinoid wellness

Emerging cannabinoids represent a new frontier in medicine. As research grows, these compounds could redefine how we approach pain, sleep, focus, and overall wellness, moving into a world of tailored, natural solutions.
